vampire hunter…

Anita Blake is being made into a comic YAY! I love the Anita Blake-Vampire Hunter series. Although the last few books have been less about vampire hunting/necromancy and more about humping anything that moves.. and somethings that don’t :/ A bit boring. If i wanted to read erotic fiction I would read some of the books I design covers for!

Laurell k Hamilton, Anita’s author, has a blog that I read. She is really starting to shit me. I think she’s a hypochondriac. She’s always sick or feeling unwell or has some phobia… it’s annoying the hell out of me. I’m starting to think it’s some deep down psycological thing where she feels to be someone different, to get attention she has to be sick and pandered to all the time. Hence my hypochondriac theory.

PLUS she’s a shitty dresser and spends pages describing characters in her books costumes which as the most appalling, eye-bleeding outfits – one vampire was wearing a 18th Century shirt and green spandex tights!!! WTF!?!?! AS IF! Hire a stylist and get some tips :p

But I love love LOVE her werewolf packs. She has created this amazing social structure for werewolves that, especially in the book Blue Moon, intrigues me and makes me want to know more. Also Anita Blake is a necromancer – she raises zombies – and that’s very cool too.
