Aitutaki lagoon

Part two of my Cook Islands images…

more images ahead…

Aitutaki was the most beautiful picture perfect place i have ever been. It was SUPER hot and dry (as aposed to Rarotonga which was hot and humid). The water was crystal clear and was the colour of bombay saphire gin bottles.

I loved Rarotonga more than Aitutaki, there is more to do and the people rock. But all in all Cook Islands rocked my socks and we’ll definately be returning in the near future! But next year we’re going to Hawaii!!

This is our bungalow on Aitutaki. The resort is actually on its own moto (little island) that is part of a group of motos that make up Aitutaki. And you have to get a barge across the water to get to the resort.
This is the view from our bungalow.
