Purple pants

I am in love with these purple capris. They are original 50s deadstock and are mint, complete with perfect knife pleats. Paired with a 60s cotton blouse, an arm full of green and black bakelite and fakelite (not pictured), and ballet flats, this made the perfect casual outfit when attending a post 50s fair-afternoon tea our friends abode.

We don’t go to the fair anymore, but it was great to catch up with friends who did. Although they all dismantled their fabulous fair outfits before I could snap photos of them, dang it.
